FAQ

✦ What makes your doula support different from others?
My approach is rooted in Womb Wisdom, energetic healing, and trauma-informed science. I blend traditional Doula care with my background in Psychology, Physical Therapy, and Quantum Birth Principles—holding space not only for the physical aspects of birth, but for the emotional, ancestral, and energetic journey that comes with it. By integrating science, spirituality, somatic tools, and ancient traditions, I support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—through every stage of this sacred transformation.
-
✦ I’m not pregnant yet. Can I still work with you?
Absolutely. Preconception is a powerful time to begin this work. Whether you’re actively trying to conceive, healing from past trauma, or simply wanting to prepare your body and spirit for pregnancy, I offer sessions focused on womb clearing, ancestral release, and energetic alignment to support conscious conception.
-
✦ Do you attend births in person?
Yes, I offer in-person birth support depending on your location. I also provide virtual support, which allows us to work together no matter where you are.
Both forms of support include birth planning, emotional preparation, energetic alignment, real-time guidance when labor begins and postpartum support tailored to your needs.

✦ What if I’ve had a traumatic birth or difficult menstrual history?
Then this work is especially for you. Many women carry unspoken pain, shame, or confusion around menstruation, fertility, or past birth experiences. These stories live in the body—and they deserve a safe place to be seen, felt, and healed. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space that blends nervous system support, somatic practices, and energetic clearing to gently process what’s been held.
Menarche—our first bleed—is a powerful initiation into womanhood, yet so many of us entered it alone, in silence or shame. Reclaiming that threshold can be a gateway to deeper healing in birthwork. When we tend to the emotional imprints of our womb—whether from sexual trauma, birth trauma, or years of disconnect—we begin to restore trust in the body’s wisdom. This healing lays the foundation for future experiences to unfold with more ease, empowerment, and wholeness.

✦ How does energy or quantum work apply to birth?
Birth is more than physical—it's vibrational. Every thought, sound, touch, and intention in the birth space creates a frequency. According to Quantum Physics, the very act of observing something influences its outcome. In birth, this means your state of mind, the emotional tone of the room, and the presence of your support team all shape how labor unfolds—and what your baby is born into.
We are water-based beings. Just like Dr. Masaru Emoto’s research revealed that water holds memory and responds to emotional input, amniotic fluid—the watery womb that surrounds your baby—absorbs the emotional atmosphere of your pregnancy and birth. If water carries the imprint of love or fear, think of how deeply your thoughts, voice, and body language imprint the birth experience.
This is why I combine practical birth preparation with nervous system regulation, intention-setting, and frequency work. My background in Psychology, Physical Therapy, and Quantum Birth training allows me to support not only your physical needs but also the emotional and energetic imprint being created.

✦ What is your favorite birth setting as a doula?t Item
While I support birth in all settings—hospital, birth center, or home—my heart is especially drawn to home birth. Having birthed at home myself, I’ve experienced the deep peace, safety, and empowerment that can come from being surrounded by love, comfort, and familiarity. In this environment, the body softens, the mind surrenders, and birth unfolds with fewer interruptions and more trust.
Home births often allow birthing people to drop into a natural rhythm—riding the waves of contractions in their own space, free from bright lights, routine checks, and unfamiliar energy. Research also shows that planned home births with skilled providers can lead to lower rates of intervention, trauma, and postpartum complications.
That said, I’m here to support you—fully and wholeheartedly—wherever you choose to birth. What matters most is that you feel safe, informed, and empowered. I gently remind my clients that birth is innate, not engineered. With preparation, presence, and support, your body already knows what to do.

✦ What does postpartum care with you look like?
I offer a nurturing blend of hands-on care and Ayurvedic-inspired practices: food preparation, warm oil massage, herbal support, light housekeeping, emotional check-ins, and guidance around newborn care.
-
✦ Why are the first 40 days after birth so important?
In many traditions, the first 40 days after birth are honored as a sacred window for healing and renewal. During this time, your body, heart, and sense of self are tenderly transforming. With deep rest, warm nourishment, and loving support, we lay the foundation for your lifelong well-being.
Throughout your postpartum journey, I gently guide a practice called mothering the mother. While you pour your love into your baby, I’m here to pour care into you—through nourishing meals, grounding touch, emotional presence, and practical support.
This is not a time to go at it alone. You deserve to be held, fed, witnessed, and celebrated as you cross this threshold. Your healing matters. Your experience matters. And you are worthy of being deeply supported every step of the way.

✦ Will you work alongside my partner or medical provider?
Absolutely. I believe in collaborative care. I support your partner in becoming an active, confident part of the birth experience. I also respect and work in harmony with your care team—whether midwives, OBs, or other providers—while advocating for your voice and choices.
